6-angle orthographic projection of the Duel Disk, blade, and screen

Part of the design involved developing icons for use on the Disk
Round 4. The client liked the idea of digitising the cards best, so this was a case of refining the shape. The client also requested a purple body and blue crystal, opting for the top right scheme
Round 3. A slightly more 'complete' edit of the shape, including blade and screen
Round 3. This round was all about establishing a shape or mechanism for storing the cards proper, as both the crystal and main body's size and shape were more or less to the client's liking at this point
Round 3. Blade shapes and designs. Client was specific in regards to shape (V-shape, outer slot on each arm should only be 'implied')
Round 2. With a better idea of the client's wants in regard to general shape and design, I set about creating some variants. Client requested that the body of the Duel Disk extend up the length of the forearm and requested some sort of holographic screen
Round 2. Blade variations. At this stage it was still two-tiered
Round 1. Establishing a core shape and scheme to move ahead with. The client eventually opted for something similar to the bottommost edit
