Renna Gonn Emblem
Client commission to design an emblem to adorn the belt of their character, Renna Gonn, a valiant but loving hero.
Brief requested the combination of heart and fist set against a rectangular golden belt buckle.

Round 1 - Initial exploration
Round 2 - Development of a 'blockier' logo with more abstracted shapes and a thumb-down fist
Round 3 - The upright heart was chosen with fist orientation being less important to the design reading as a heart in silhouette. Exploration began on marrying the initial concepts better
Round 5 - With the heavily stylised 45° slants and right angles settled, the final silhouette was refined.
Round 6 - Once the shape was set, the buckle itself was refined after the client's initial dimensions left more blank space than they'd intended
Final - The buckle was decided and several colour and border variants were provided
